Phase 2: Implementation
Builds the database, backend, frontend, and deploys the result. The phase where the example switches from writing planning documents to writing code.

In one minute
- Phase 2 of 3, invoked once Definition & planning is confirmed.
- Invokes four sub-skills in a fixed, dependency-driven order: the database has to exist before the backend can query it, the backend before the frontend can call it.
- A deliberate contrast with phase 1: none of its sub-skills write to
docs/product/. By this point the plan has become code, and the codebase itself is the handoff.

name: implementation
description: Runs the second phase of building a new digital product, the database, the backend, the frontend, and getting it all deployed together. Use as phase 2 of develop-new-digital-product, after definition-and-planning is confirmed. Invokes /database-implementation, /backend-implementation, /frontend-implementation, and /integration-and-deployment, in that order.
---
## Invoke, in order
1. /database-implementation
2. /backend-implementation
3. /frontend-implementation
4. /integration-and-deployment
Unlike the previous phase, none of these write to docs/product/. Read docs/product/planning.md for the architecture, then build. Hand off to /pre-launch-activities once integration-and-deployment reports a working, deployed build. Its sub-skills
| Sub-skill | Depends on |
|---|---|
| Database | docs/product/planning.md |
| Backend | The schema database-implementation just wrote |
| Frontend | The API backend-implementation just shipped |
| Integration & deployment | All three of the above, running together |
Where it fits
Invoked by the orchestrator as phase 2, after Definition & planning. Hands off to Pre-launch activities.
